  • Visit ThailandBurma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the ThailandBurma Railway.
  • The fully airconditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience.
  • Visit Allied War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place.
  • Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.
  • 11:40 Lunch at local restaurant.
  • Take a historic on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs

  • 09:00 Arrival at Bang Pa-In, visit the Summer Palace of King Rama V with its mixture of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture such as Aisawan Thiphya-At, Warophat Phiman, Wehart Chamrun, etc.
  • 10:30 Arrival at Ayutthaya, a World Heritage City and historic capital of Thailand.
  • Visit Wat Mahathat, the royal monastery, served as the residence of supreme monk.
  • Wat Phrasrisanphet, the largest and most important temple. Its was used as a residential palace.
  • Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, the large bronze Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside
  • 13:30 Welcome aboard the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi).
  • Sumptuous buffet lunch with a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served, while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings.
  • The cruiser will then head towards Nonthaburi, past Koh Kred, The Mon community before reaching Bangkok city.
  • 15:00 Coffee will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the River banks such as the colorful Royal Barges House.

  • Long Neck Village: Tribal village whose women wear stacked brass rings on their necks & sell handmade crafts.
  • Blue Temple: Monumental, modern Buddhist temple distinguished by its vivid blue coloring & elaborate carvings.

  Day 8 Chiang Mai - Elephant Sanctuary (Full Day) Join Tour + Private Transfer (B/L/-)

  • 08:30 Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.

  • Change into traditional Karen clothing.
  • Enjoy an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior.

  • After that, visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, the most celebrated temple in Lamphun province.
